Deer Valley is not as popular as Park City to the European market, possibly as its a dearer place to stay. Its the equivalent to Beaver Creek in Colorado, so pampering is a must! The slopes are immaculately groomed and there are fewer people on the slopes than most American resorts. And there is no snowboarding allowed.Slopes offer interesting tree lined terrain for everyone, as well as many ungroomed pistes.
Deer Valley is slap bang next to Park City and only separated by a fence. The accommodation tends to be mostly 4 star and the night life is very quiet.Restaurants are a little expensive though the superb buffet at the Stein Eriksen Lodge is a must where ever you are staying, though staying here is a wonderful experience.Ski school here is excellent with only 4 to a class and the childrens centre give parents complimentary pagers. You can also drop the kids off from 8.30am.A very nice, high quality, elegant resort.
