| On the same lift pass as Breckenridge,Vail,Arapahoe and Beaver Creek Keystone was developed by Intrawest so elements of Whistler are mimiced. The area consists of 3 spectacular mountains ( Dercum,Outback and North Peak) and has built a reputation on the quality of its pistes and snowmaking, though being another high resort with a great snow record this is rarely used. There is also superb floodlit skiing on some nights, until late evening,an experience not to be missed.Breckenridge is next door, some 6 miles away, for a change of scenery, slopes and vibrant nightlife. Another resort recommended for families, being quieter than the party town of Breckenridge, with much accommodation again being on or near the slopes or village.Suitable for all levels of skiers and offers a choice of alternative activities from tubing and ice skating through to snowmobiling and sleighriding.A fabulous choice for everyone and again at very reasonable prices for such quality accommodations and skiing/boarding. Bring your kids for the free, ski hire promotion.Children 12 and under can have free ski hire per hiring adult. |
